Dominion Diagnostics operates from a 50,000-square-foot state-of-the-art lab in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. They provide most services through Rhode Island, with additional labs in Williston, Vermont, and Greensboro, North Carolina. These locations offer regional support in the Northeast and Southeast. National logistics, supply partnerships, and patient service centers help Dominion meet the needs of addiction treatment centers, behavioral health facilities, pain management practices, primary care practices, and hospitals.

In 1997, a group of scientists recognized a need to deliver a higher standard of drug testing than was available at the time and founded Dominion Diagnostics. They had a special interest in the addiction medicine field and started with a small team of three. Their mission was “to discover, develop, and perform diagnostic laboratory procedures that improve the quality of life.”

Now twenty years later, Dominion’s services span across more than 75% of the United States and have touched the lives of millions of patients and their families. This year alone the company will reach a milestone of testing over one million unique patient samples – most of whom were affected by the ever-expanding national drug use epidemic. Compounding its history, Dominion’s expert research and development team has over 40 years of combined experience in bioanalytical method development and validation.
