NAADAC CE1 hour
The Principles of Urine Drug Monitoring
Designed to equip participants with the essentials of UDM and result interpretation. We review the differences between presumptive and definitive testing methodologies, how biological and validity markers can assist when determining specimen integrity, utilization of the laboratory report for result interpretation, and why Creatinine-Adjusted Values (CAVs) are necessary when assessing for abstinence or continued use.
NAADAC CE1 hour
Alcohol and Urine Drug Monitoring
Provides a comprehensive review on alcohol, result report interpretation, and how urine testing of alcohol can assist in monitoring for recent alcohol use and assessing abstinence in the treatment of alcohol use disorder.
The Principles of Oral Fluid Testing
Reviews oral fluid as a testing matrix, as well as using oral fluid to monitor for substance use. This thirty-minute introductory presentation discusses the strengths and limitations of this matrix, key differences between oral fluid and urine testing, windows of detection, how drugs enter oral fluid, the collection procedure, and additional considerations.

A Look at Notable Drugs of Misuse
The illicit drug market is dynamic and is always evolving. This course aims to support substance use disorder professionals by providing relevant information about key substances of misuse in a way that is easy to understand. Participants will learn about current and emerging drugs of concern, as well as important considerations for monitoring for the use of these substances in urine. This includes a detailed review of fentanyl, xylazine, medetomidine, delta-8-THC, synthetic cannabinoids, designer benzodiazepines, kratom, and tianeptine
