Yes, our Privacy Policies outlines the practices we adhere to for compliance and privacy.
Your provider cares about your safety and the safety of all patients. As a patient, you may not realize that your provider’s ability to service the community can be severely limited or stopped entirely if you or other patients misuse or divert medications or illicit drugs. Additionally, drug-drug interactions can also be harmful to treatment in certain cases. Many providers across the country partner with us to implement drug monitoring policies in their programs.
INSURANCE
We are a Medicare and Medicaid provider for laboratory services and an in-network provider with most commercial insurance plans. Our payer relations team works to expand our payer network. We accept reimbursements as determined by your coverage plan. After your insurance carrier has been billed for services, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for such. Although the EOB details the costs of laboratory services performed, it is NOT a bill. We will, as required by law, attempt to collect any co-pays, deductibles or other fees for which your insurance carrier deems you responsible. You would also receive a bill if your insurance carrier does not cover testing or if you are uninsured.
If this is the case, it’s possible that we didn’t receive your complete insurance information. Please complete the Patient Information Update Form with your insurance details and send it by mail to the address listed below. Or, you can fax the information to our HIPAA compliance fax line at 401.667.0331. Please follow the fax with a phone call to 800.511.8427, Option 4 so that our team may confirm receipt.
